Krazie Kitties

We got Rosalind a kitten when she was 5 and so, since May this year when Carolina turned 5, we've been chatting about whether or not to get a kitten for Carolina. The turning point was the first weekend in September when Chris saw an article in the KW Record about the kitty cat overflow at the Humane Society. That morning Chris took Carolina and Rosalind to the Humane Society so that Carolina could pick out her little kitten. Chris has been aching to have a black female cat. He had tried mightily but unsuccessfully to influence Rosalind's choice of kitten - she chose Frankie, an orange male cutie. Needless to say he had no better influence on Carolina's choice of kitty. She determined she wanted a wee scrap of a thing- with tabby colouring and lots of white. She has named this kitty Mika. But thats not the end of the kitty story. Chris called me during the kitten choosing process to tell me he had found the cutest grey kitten - long hair with a fluffy tail - a little clone of my most favourite cat ever, Sasha who died in 2004. Long story short we brought home 2 kittens that day ...Mika and Maggie and now have the ridiculous count of 4 cats in our house. Amazingly, integration has been quiet and they all get along wonderfully. And its been a lot of fun with the pounding of kitten paws throughout the house at odd times of the day ( and night )

Aren't we just the cutest ?????
