The time has finally come - I suspected this would be a 2010 event - but nope Rosalind wasn't ready for going to two wheels last year !!! This year however she asked her Dad to 'take off the training wheels' and then help her 'get started'. 
After a very wobbly start, she managed to get going for a few turns of the wheel before veering into the nearest available lawn. She was holding onto the handlebars so hard her fingers were sore !!!But she is happy and eager to get out to our local public school playground and practise tomorrow after school to master this new skill !!!
Woohoo ...someone is sure growing up ................
