How does one manage without one - I just cannot imagine. Our little Salad Chef is Carolina. She does require some sous-chef assistance from her Mom from time to time to help with the more mundane chores required in salad making.
She loves mushrooms in her salad ( she loves mushrooms in EVERYTHING ). She cuts them up VERY carefully with the vegie knife. She is game to try anything in her salad and only really needs to be watched when it comes to adding the salad dressing ( she can be a tad heavy handed) Otherwise she is an awesome little chef and her salads are a really big hit!!!!
She does require a careful eye now as she is branching out and has no fear of taking on new challenges. We've caught her making popcorn in the microwave ( yes she DID have the time correct ) and putting together Strawberry Quik and milk, getting the whole thing into a pitcher and putting it in the fridge ( oh, her Uncle Doug would be so very proud ) and also peeling a kiwi with a knife. All done very carefully and masterfully !!! Ah what a girl !!!!!
